SAN JOSE, CA, 14 April 2015– Lynx Software Technologies, Inc., a world leader in the embedded safety and security software market, and its’ Russian distributor RTSoft, today announced that its LynxOS-178 Real Time Operating System is being used in a flight system of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 designed by Ulyanovsk Instrument Manufacturing Design Bureau (UIMDB). LynxOS is the first and only COTS operating system to receive acceptance for reusability from the FAA for DO-178B/C certification, and acceptance for reusability by EASA on this project represents a further milestone.
