Intel® Embedded Alliance recognizes LynxSecure for utilizing Intel’s virtualization technology and allowing developers to fully leverage the power of multicore architecture

SAN JOSÉ, CA-April 26, 2010—LynuxWorks™, Inc., a world leader in the secure embedded software market, is proud to announce that its LynxSecure product won the 2009 Software Innovations Award granted by the Intel Embedded Alliance. The award was presented at the Intel Embedded Alliance Worldwide Business Connection Awards dinner on March 16, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This innovative product also won the prestigious Security Category at the 2009 Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Innovation Awards in London.

When running on Intel’s multicore processors, LynxSecure provides state-of-the-art software virtualization technology that makes it possible to securely host, in parallel, both embedded operating systems and unmodified desktop operating systems on a single platform.
