The new BSP is a part of LynxOS-178 2.2.3, the latest release of the safety critical RTOS (real-time operating system) from Lynx Software Technologies. The BSP brings this FAA Level A certifiable RTOS to Curtiss-Wright’s VPX6-187 board and adds support for the Freescale® Power® Architecture QorIQ P4040/4080 System On a Chip multi-core processor. The LynxOS-178 2.2.3 release for the VPX6-187 includes support of the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) 2.0 which aids in the development of portable military avionics platforms.
